Primetime Cable Ratings: December 4, 2013
TNT premiered their new 1940's crime drama MOB CITY on Wednesday night and the results are luke warm. The new series brought in 2.3 million viewers and a o.6 rating in Adults 18-49. Not a horrible start for the series, but not at the level of most TNT series, like MAJOR CRIMES or FALLING SKIES. I am surprised they didn't used MAJOR CRIMES as a lead in to help launch the series with more possible viewers.The top show of the night was FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY. it's 4.1 million viewers is about what the series has been averaging for this 3rd season. There are just five episodes left of for this season.
Once hot reality series TOP CHEF was not even close to making the top ten. The new season episode finished outside of the top 20, drawing just 1.3 million viewers. I know i have not watched the series for at least the last four cycles. It may be time to let the series rest for a while.
