Social Activity TV Chart: October 30, 2013
The clinching game for the Red Sox winning their 3rd world series in the past decade, was the most active program on TV Wednesday night. Game six, on FOX, collected over 1.78 million posts about the game. I would suspect a majority of the activity is very happy Red Sox fans going crazy, sending photos and just having fun, during the post game celebration.
Over on cable, sports was also the top draw for four of the top five spots. The NBA doubleheader on TNT took sports one & three, with a collective 404,000 postings of the games. ESPN's SportsCenter grabbed the 4th spot with just under 110,000 posts.
The #2 cable spot was the hist drama AMERICAN HORROR STORY, which produced nearly 356k of social postings on its own.
