Primetime Cable Ratings: October 9, 2013
The third season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY premiered Wednesday night and the best it could do is 2nd place. Drawing just under 5.5 million viewers and a 3.0 rating in Adults 18-49.Topping the FX series was the series clinching game by the St. Louis Cardinals over the Pittsburgh Pirates. The game five contest collected a million more viewers than AHS and tied it in the demographic ratings. TBS will be starting the National League Championship Series Friday night.
Dominating the night, as usual, was DUCK DYNASTY. The lovable reality series hauled in 8.1 million viewers and a strong 3.4 demo rating. The series also placed a total of four episodes on Wednesday's top 10 list.
