CW Weekly Ratings: October 21 - 25, 2013

Week three of the CW season was a bit of a let down,  compared to the previous week. Just about every program saw ratings fall back to premiere week levels.  ARROW was back under 3 million viewers. THE ORIGINALS were below a 1.0 in the A18-49 ratings an BEAUTY AND THE BEAST posted its lowest numbers of the season.

The low rated series THE CARRIE DIARIES had its second season premiere on Friday night. A new season failed to bring new viewers to the series. It was the lowest rated series of the week, for The CW, and the numbers will only get worse, from here on out. As a comparison, Las week's encore of REIGN drew 1.03 million viewers in the same time slot.

I hope this is not a 5 year project just to get the series to syndication, no matter what the original broadcast ratings bring. But, Knowing the CW, it would not surprise me if this is a 5 year commitment, much like 90210 was.

For the week, the CW averaged a 0.67 rating in Adults 18-49 and 1.72 million viewers. That is down 11% in the demo ratings and 9% in viewers, from last week's numbers.
