Ratings Review: COMMUNITY (Season Four)

I am sure I have written this before, perhaps many times, but if COMMUNITY were on any other network, it would have been cancelled after it's second season, if not the first, because of the low ratings.

Like most sitcoms NBC has been putting out since the turn of the century, COMMUNITY has a very niche audience. They are seem to be loyal, but there are just too few of them to really keep the program afloat. Also, if this series was not produced by NBC, it would not be coming up on its 5th season. it is around ONLY for the off network syndication value.

For the season, COMMUNITY averaged just 2.86 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 13 episodes, plus one repeat. Once again, COMMUNITY will be a mid-season replacement series, with just a 13 episode order. The cast is seeing a little shake up as Chevy Chase is gone and Donald Glover will only be in a handful of episodes.
