Primetime Cable Ratings: September 22, 2013
The Primetime Emmy Awards did not discourage viewers from watching their favorite Sunday cable programs, including two veteran dramas coming to a close.
On Showtime, the series finale of DEXTER drew 2.8 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49. It is the highest rated episode of DEXTER and is also the best rated original episode in Showtime history.
Over on AMC, the second to last BREAKING BAD aired at the same time and it too broke records. Once again, Sunday's BREAKING BAD became the highest rated episode in series history, topping last week's 6.37 million viewers. I fully expect this Sunday's series finale to not only top 7 million viewers, but go beyond 8 million.
