Despite the increased competition from Shark Week, RIZZOLI & ISLES stayed in the #1 position on Tuesday nights, with 5.5 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. Week-to-week it was up just 3% in viewers, but a full 20% in the A18-49 ratings.
Two more programs from Discovery's Shark Week made the chart. SPAN OF JAWS, placed 7thm with 2.7 million viewers and I ESCAPED JAWS was right behind with just under 2.7 million. Both shows tied History's LEGEND OF SHELBY THE SWAMP MAN for the best A18-49 rating, with a 1.3 score.
