Social TV Activity Chart for May 31, 2013

I think it will be a very long summer season. Not one primetime program from the five broadcaster made the top five chart for Friday. All of the programs are from daytime TV, except the multi-channel coverage of an international soccer game between Mexico and Nigeria. ELLEN easily dominated the day as the only program over 100k social posts.

SMACKDOWN on SyFy was the top cable program on the day, collecting over 74,000 social media messages. After a few weeks off the chart, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS returns in the #4 position with just over 31,000 posts.
