TV News Roundup: Week of May 27, 2013

With the 2012-13 regular season completed, most of this week's headlines feature series renewals for the 2013-14 season.

TUESDAY:
  • Spike TV and E3 reach deal:
    The Electronics Entertainment Expo has named Spike TV as the exclusive broadcaster of the the 2013 event.
  • More MELISSA & JOEY:
    ABC Family has ordered more episodes for season three, plus committed to a fourth season to push the total number of episodes produced to 100 .
  • More INSIDE AMY SCHUMER:
    Comedy Central has ordered a second season of 10 episodes of the series.
WEDNESDAY:
  • Esquire Network sets launch date:
    G4 with become the Esquire Network with a launch on September 23.
  • CBS moves summer series to TV Guide Network:
    BIG BROTHER: AFTER DARK is moving from Showtimwe to the newly aquired TV Guide Network this summer.
  • AMAZON orders first five series:
    The online retailer and digital content provider ordered two comedies and three kids programs as the first exclusive series for Amazon Prime Video. (link)
THURSDAY:
  • NBC renews low rated drama for a second season:
    The peacock network has ordered a 13 episode second season for the low rated drama HANNIBAL.
FRIDAY:
  • NICK Mom adds new series:
    THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE will be added to the NickMom line up starting today, June 1.
