Social TV Activity Chart for May 8, 2013
AMERICAN IDOL and THE VOICE went head to head on Wednesday night and, in social messaging, AMERICAN IDOL was king of the singing competition shows. The elder program drew 85,000 more social posts than did the newer show.
On the cable side of the charts, NBA Playoff basketball rises to the top, collecting over 1.2 million social networking related messages. The top game, featuring Bulls/Heat, drew just over one million on its own.
The remainder of the cable chart is all sports, including two NHL games and ESPN Sportscenter.
