Ratings Review: GO ON

Matthew Perry returned to NBC for his first series for the network since STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP. Initially, GO ON looked to be the moderate hit NBC so desperately needed, but when the "protective covering" THE VOICE provided during the fall, GO ON became just as weak as any other NBC comedy.

GO had every advantage a new series can have, yet still became another failure for NBC. Going from 16 million viewers in preview after Olympic Coverage to just 2.7 million viewers for its season/series finale. That is a loss of 83% in viewership.

GO averaged 5.5 million viewers and generated a 2.0 demo rating. Without THE VOICE as its lead in, its best ratings were on January 15, 2013, with 4.5 million viewers and a 1.7 demo rating.

GO will, more than likely, not have a second season. The viewers have spoke and they reject the series.  But, will this be the last we see Perry in a lead role?
