Ratings: Broadcast Finals for April 15, 2013

As most shows have a decline in the raitngs, during the spring, THE VOICE bucks the trend and continues to rise in the ratings each week. This Monday, the series pulled its best numbers of the 2012-13 season with 14.5 million viewers and a 5.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is a week-to-week increase of 400,000 viewers and a 0.2 ratings point.

When I saw the ratings for all of the CBS shows, I thought there was a typo and they forgot to include the [R] after each title. Then I realized those ratings are for new episodes. I guess THE VOICE sucked the audience away from CBS. Good thing season finales are just a few short weeks away.

The CW has started the summer early as OH SIT! had its second season premiere. It drew 940,000 viewers and a 0.4 demo rating. Very similar numbers to last week's season/series finale of THE CARRIE DIARIES. But when you consider the force that THE VOICE has become, getting nearly one million viewers for a CW summer series, is not that bad.

Monday Night Averages:
NBC - 12.6 million viewers, 4.5 rating in Adults 18-49.
ABC - 12.3 million viewers, 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49.
CBS - 7.2 million viewers, 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49.
FOX - 6.5 million viewers, 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49.
CW - 0.7 million viewers, 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49.
