Ratings: Broadcast Finals for March 4, 2013

FOX edges ABC to win the night on the strength of scripted programs BONES and THE FOLLOWING.

BONES leed off the night for FOX with a solid 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49 and 8.4 million viewers. It was the #2 program in the hour, behind THE BACHELOR. The FOLLOWING built upon the audience from BONES by 27% in the demo, to post a 2.8 rating. THE FOLLOWING was also the most watched program of the evening with 8.8 million viewers.

Both FOX programs will be on the FOX schedule next season and THE FOLLOWING may be the only clear freshmen hit series from this 2012-13 season.

THE BACHELOR posted 8.5 million viewers and a 2.8 demo rating for ABC, enough to win the 8pm to 10pm time slot. The reality program was second only to THE FOLLOWING in both measured categories.

- DECEPTION was last in the 10pm hour, behind repeats of both HAWAII FIVE-0 and CASTLE.

FOX - 8.6 million viewers, 2.5 rating in Adults 18-49

ABC - 7.9 million viewers, 2.3 rating in Adults 18-49

CBS - 6.1 million viewers, 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49

NBC - 5.1 million viewers, 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49

CW - 0.9 million viewers, 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49
