Ratings: Broadcast Finals for December 15, 2012
It was almost all repeat programming on Saturday night as CBS took a rare sweep of the night ranking first amongst both total viewers and the A18-49 demo ratings.
CBS' presentation of the theatrical movie ELF connected with viewers that stayed home on a Saturday night with 5.1 million viewers and a decent 1.5 demo rating, between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. 48 HOURS continued with the good numbers with its continued coverage of the Newton, CT shootings. Hower the numbers for 48 HOURS are approximate as finals were not released for the program.
COPS returned to FOX and the ratings left off where they were early this year. An average of 2.7 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating demonstrates exactly why FOX is looking to sports programming to fill the nights, whenever possible.
