TV Ad Rates History: THE BIG BANG THEORY

THE BIG BANG THEORY debuted in the fall of 2007 with a fairly typical ad rate of $133,000. That was below fellow freshman comed BACK TO YOU ($141,000), on FOX, but more than ABC's flopped sitcoms CAR POOLERS ($81,000) and CAVEMEN ($78,000).

Over the six seasons, TBBT has increased its ad rate over 107% or $142,573 per each 30 second ad. It is now the 8th priciest program to purchase ad time from.
