THE SIMPSONS have been on FOX for over 20 years. It, for the most part, has been THE identity of FOX. THE SIMPSONS have also been a big revenue source for FOX, even as thr ratings have dropped off over the last few years.
As the chart shows, THE SIMPSONS ad rates took a dramatic downturn in '08 and '09, but as the ship has been corrected, and the economy strengthens, the ad rates are close to where they were 6 years ago. However, they are still off by almost 10% from its peak rate in 2007..
