TV Ad Rate History: THE GOOD WIFE
THE GOOD WIFE may be critically acclaimed, but the advertising rates it can demand are nothing more than common, at best.
There were high expectations for THE GOOD WIFE when it premiered in 2009. Its ad rates, though not excessive, were above average for a new series. With a drop for the second season, CBS tried to breath life in to it by moving THE GOOD WIFE to Sundays.
With the new night, hopes of better ratings would compliment the 26% jump in ad rates. As all things go, this season, the ad rates adjusted to how THE GOOD WIFE performs on Sundays, which is expected to be less than most new series in 2012.
