Ratings: Broadcast Finals for October 25, 2012

It was a night of split leadership, as FOX won the night in the A18-49 ratings, with a 3.5 average, and CBS took the night in total viewers.

Led by the #1 comedy, THE BIG BANG THEORY, CBS posted a nightly average of 12.9 million viewers and a 3.2 rating in A18-49. TBBT posted 15.8 million viewers and a 5.0 demo rating. For the week, it currently is the highest rate program in Adults 18-49 and is third in total viewers, behind NCIS and NCIS: LA. The one black spot for CBS is the new crime drama ELEMENTARY. It lost nearly 27% of the viewers and 24% in the demo, that PERSON of INTEREST delivered.

In contrast, NBC's ratings were very bad. 30 ROCK lost the half hour to THE VAMPIRE DIARIES in the A18-49 demo ratings, 1.2 to 1.3, respectively. 30 ROCK even rated lower than the cancelled ANIMAL PRACTICE, from the night before. Perhaps NBC should keep AP and move it to Thursdays and put 30 ROCK out of its, and our misery.
