Ratings: Broadcast Finals for September 9, 2012
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, featuring Dallas vs NY Giants, scored the best ever ratings for a regular season game on Sunday Night. 27.6 million viewers and an Adult 18-49 rating of 11.0. To get "America's Team" vs. the Super Bowl Champions, that just happen to represent the #1 TV market, in the opening game of the SNF season culminated into the record number.FOX also got some mileage with an hour of over run with their NFL late afternoon game as 26.4 million viewers were enjoying the opening weekend of games. With the start timed of these games now at 4:25pm, ET, CBS and FOX should get a full hour of primetime NFL ratings every other week.
