Ratings Review: UNDER THE DOME (Season Three)

Once summer hit, UNDER THE DOME quickly became an under performer in the ratings. Season one average over 11 million viewers, while season two drew over seven million viewers. Season three struggled to draw four million viewers. CBS made the right choice to end the series now.

In the Live+SD ratings, UNDER THE DOME averaged 4.57 million viewers, a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-34, a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49, and a 1.4 rating in Adults 25-54. That is about a third of what the series did in 2013.

In the Live+3 ratings, viewership rose 2.3 million viewers and the A18-49 demo added 0.6 points. The Live+7 ratings brought the averages to 7.49 million viewers (+64%) and a 1.7 rating (+89%) in Adults 18-49. The Live+7 numbers are about the same as 2014's Live+SD ratings, but that season added another four million viewers to its L+7 ratings.
