Ratings Review: THE MIDDLE (Season Six)
For the past six seasons, THE MIDDLE has quietly been a solid ratings performer and anchor the Wednesday night ABC line up. It is not that BIG hit, series, like MODERN FAMILY, but I would bet money that in 15 years, more people are watching reruns of THE MIDDLE than those watching MODERN FAMILY.In the Live+SD Ratings, THE MIDDLE averages 7.22 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 29 airings, including four encore airings. Minus the repeats, the SD average rises to 7.51 million viewers and a demo rating of a 2.0.
THE MIDDLE is not a highly DVRed series, as its Live+7 ratings add just 24% more total viewers (9.33 million total) and 35% in the A18-49 demo (2.9 rating).
