Ratings Review: GAME OF THRONES (Season Five)
GAME OF THRONES is cables second most successful series, currently on TV, behind THE WALKING DEAD. It is truly a hit TV series that draws large number of viewers, week in and week out. The fact it is on a premium cable network and has a small reach on viewership is a non factor.The Live+SD ratings average 6.88 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 10 episode season.
For the Live+3 ratings, viewership rose by 2.5 million and the demo gained roughly 1.3 points. When the Live+7 ratings are leased, the total viewership of GAME OF THRONES is about 9.7 million (+41%) and the A18-49 demo is at a 5.0 rating (+43%).
