Ratings Review: GAME OF THRONES (Season Three)

I am not a watcher of GAME OF THRONES, but it is amazing how a very much hyped and buzzed about series, before the season premiere, could grow so much over the course of its 10 episode season.

For the most part of its 3rd season run, GAME OF THRONES was constantly the most watched scripted program of each week, despite only being in about 30% of US homes. Over the short season the series grew 23% in total viewership and 21% in Adults 18-49. It averaged 5 million viewers each week, along with a 2.6 demo rating. Airing at 9 p.m., on Sundays, it was beating all of the broadcast networks regular programming, in the A18-49 ratings, during that time slot.

GAME OF THRONES will be back in 2014, for another 10 episodes. The production schedule will be roughly the same as the previous seasons, so expect another early spring premiere for season four.
