Ratings Review: THE BACHELOR (Winter 2015)

This winter, the 2015 edition of THE BACHELOR shows that not only does ABC have a solid performer to bridge the gap between seasons of DANCING WITH THE STARS, but it has one of the stronger reality series on network TV.

The ratings did start out a little slow, but after a third of the season, the numbers began to climb from a low two demo rating to a high two demo rating. Most of the back half of the season, viewership approached nine million viewers, up about one million viewers from the first half of the season.

For the season, THE BACHELOR averaged 8.01 million viewers and a 2.3 rating in Adults 18-49. This summer, the franchise will give us another season of THE BACHELORETTE and BACHELORS IN PARADISE.
