Ratings Review: NCIS (Season Eleven)

Now in it's 11th season, NCIS is still the #1 most watched drama on TV. It shows no signs of stopping and is now generating it's second successful spin-off series, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS for the 2014-15 season. And just think, NBC could have been reaping all of this if it had been a little more patient with JAG.

In the fall and winter months, NCIS dominated the ratings. It draws between 19 and 20 million viewers each week and hovers around a three demo rating. The LIVE+7 ratings are just as impressive, adding four to five million more viewers and a jump of 1.0 to 1.4 points in the A18-49 ratings.

For the season NCIS averaged 16.32 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in Adults 18-49, for it's 33 airings, including NINE repeat episodes. It almost seems that the series gets stronger with each new season. NCIS was not this dominate in it's early seasons.
