Ratings Review: MADE IN JERSEY

Made in JerseyMADE IN JERSEY is officially the first casualty of the 2012-13 season. The Friday series only aired two episodes before CBS, justly, yanked it off the schedule.

MADE IN JERSEY was DOA from the season premiere, September 28th. It pulled in just 7.8 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49. That demo rating tied it with FRINGE, so you know that its bad.

Week two, and the last episodes, was even worse. A loss of one million viewers (-13%) and a demo rating that dipped well under a full ratings point (0.8). The loss in the demo ratings was 27%.

A lot of fans of MADE IN JERSEY were trying to have their voice heard about the cancellation, but the numbers do not lie. It was the worst show of the night, from the Big 4 networks. Also, Once MIJ was gone, CSI: NY posted its best numbers of the season and BLUE BLOODS rose significantly from the previous week.
