Ratings: Broadcast Finals for October 14, 2012

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL dominated the night, while the NLCS game #1 of the Cardinals vs Giants laid an egg.

Although it was far from the best ratings of the season SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL posted the top audience of 19.9 million viewers and a 7.7 rating in Adults 18-49. So strong was the NFL that not even post season baseball could even compete.

The NLCS, Game #1, posted an embarrassing 2.1 in the demo ratings and just 6.8 million viewers. That is barely competitive with ABC and FOX and their low rated Sunday night..

ABC should be a little concerend with its three dramas. Since the season/series premieres on September 30, ONCE UPON A TIME has dropped 23% in the demo and 17% in viewers. Relocated REVENGE is down
19% in the demo and 15% in viewers. Highly anticipated new series 666 PARK AVENUE is down a whopping  29% and 30%, respectively, in the same categories.

For CBS THE GOOD WIFE sticks out like a sore thumb. Its inability to keep viewers in the 18-49 demographic may earn it a trip to Friday Nights. TGW is to Sundays that MADE IN JERSEY was to Fridays.
