US Box Office Results: January 11 - 13, 2018
THE UPSIDE knocks AQUAMAN from its three week reign as the top theatrical movie in America, grossing $19.6 million in its first three days. the film is only the 20th best opening for Kevin Hart, just below 2015's THE WEDDING RINGER and above his 2016 concert film.
AUQUAMAN, now in its fourth week of release, cam in second, with just over $17 million, bringing its domestic total to to just under $288 million, breaking the top 100 of all-time (#91).
Also new in theaters was the family film, A DOG'S WAY HOME, taking in $11.3 million. It should easily pass its $18 million production budget, while in the theaters.
Not doing as well in its opening weekend was the Keanu Reeves film, REPLICAS. The sci-fi thriller brought in just $2.5 million, while in 2,329 theaters. it will be lucky to make $10 million, while in theaters.
