Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 10/23/2018

Game one of the World Series dominates the night, leading FOX to an easy nightly win. The game, lasting to just short of midnight, eastern time, averaged 12.6 million viewers and posted a 3.4 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down from last year's game one, which collected 15 million viewers and a 3.9 rating in the A18-49 demographic.

NBC did take second, with is solid one-two punch of THE VOICE and THIS IS US. New drama, AMSTERDAM topped its weak ABC and CBS competitors, at 10 PM.

CBS had a solid outing, for a third place finish, with two of the three most watched programs of the night.

ABC chalked up another fourth place finish.
