Powered by THE VOICE, THIS IS US and NEW AMSTERDAM, NBC has an easy time winning the Tuesday night ratings. Each NBC program wins its respective time slot in all three demographic categories, while coming in second, to CBS, in total viewership. THIS IS US dropped 20%, week-to-week, while NEW AMSTERDAM was closer to a 10% drop from last week's premiere.
CBS was #1 in total viewership, averaging 9.7 million viewers, and posted a 1.2 ratings average in Adults 18-49. All three crime dramas were mostly flat, in the A`18-49 demo, from last week's premieres.
FOX topped ABC, again, for a third place showing, with 2.7 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating. THE GIFTED was fourth in its 8 PM time slot, while LETHAL WEAPON grew out of its lead in to tie ABC for third in the 9 PM hour, which aired two hours of DANCING WITH THE STARS. ABC's A MILLION LITTLE THINGS tanked, ranking last in the 10 PM hour and generating just half the demographic rating as second place, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS. ABC averaged a 0.7 demo rating and five million viewers..
