The full Nielsen program rankings and ratings, plus 19 broadcast and digital network ratings:
#1s for the Week:
NBC rode the NFL opening week to a dominating sweep of the weekly ratings, with two primetime games. The Thursday night game ranked #2 on the week, with 19 million viewers, while the Sunday Night game topped it with 22.1 million viewers. The network also had three slots taken by pre-game programs, taking five of the first six spots on the chart. In total, NBC placed 13 shows in the top 30, eight of which were NFL related.
FOX also leveraged the NFL to take the #2 spot as it overrun game, on sunday evening took the #3 position, with over 16.3 million viewers. The post game show, THE OT, ranked seventh. The first 2018 fall season premiere, REL, followed them both, attracting 5.5 million viewers, for the #17 spot.
ABC and CBS were mostly dead in the water, with ABC slightly above CBS. ABC only managed four shows in the top 30, with the best being an encore of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD at #24. But two nights of BACHELOR IN PARADISE helped ABC pass CBS, in the demos, for a third place ranking.
CBS had ten shows in the top 30, but only the three hours of BIG BROTHER did much in the key A18-49 demographic.
The CW took 12 of the bottom 14 spots.
