Preliminary Ratings: 08/19/2018

CBS wins a competitive Sunday night in the ratings, on the back of a new episode of BIG BROTHER, at 9 PM, drawing 5.8 million viewers and a solid 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That was easily the #1 show of the night. It's lead in. 60 MINUTES (R)drew more viewers, 6.2 million, but had a full point less in the key demographic. Crime drama encores from 9 to 11 PM drew under 3.2 million and a 0.4 demo rating.

ABC was a notch behind, in second place, as a repeat of AFV won the 7 PM hour, with 4.5 million viewers and a 0.7 demographic rating. An encore of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD, at 8 PM, was second in the hour, with 4.6 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. New episodes of THE $100,000 PYRAMID and TO TELL THE TRUTH won their hours, with 4.5 million viewers, 0.8 demo rating and 3.5 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, respectively.

NBC was third as its coverage of the women's US Gymnastics collected 3.1 million viewers and posted a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49, from 8 to 10 PM. A new DATELINE, at 7 PM, started the night with 4.1 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, while the series finale of SHADES OF BLUE closed the night with 3.2 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating.

FOX led off the night with overrun coverage of the US Armature Open golf event, which only brought in 570,000 viewers and a 0.1 demo rating. Comedy encores from 7 :30 to 10 PM averaged over one million viewers and a 0.5 demographic rating.
