Final Broadcast Ratings: April 1, 2018

NBC barely tops ABC to win the Sunday night ratings, as the latest LIVE musical production, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, produces relatively soft numbers. This past December, FOX scored a 1.5 for A CHRISTMAS STORY, and NBC's live production, HAIRSPRAY, in December 2016, produced a 2.3 demo and drew over nine million viewers.

AMERICAN IDOL stayed on pace with JCS: LIVE,  in the A18-49 demographic and in the A25-54 demographic, scoring just a tenth of a point less.

CBS, with no sports lead in, was back to its usual Sunday night ratings, doing well in total viewership, but the younger demos, placed it fourth on the night.
