Final Broadcast Ratings: March 12, 2018

The battle of THE VOICE versus AMERICAN IDOL saw NBC the winner, beating the rebooted series in head-to-head action. IDOL drew 8.4 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down over two million viewers and off by 22% in the A18-49 demographic, from Sunday night's premiere. Meanwhile, THE VOICE collected 3.5 million more viewers than IDOL and 33% advantage in the key demo ratings.

At 10 PM, ABC dominated the hour, with GOOD GIRLS a distant second place and an encore of NCIS in third.

CBS and FOX were neck-and-neck for third place, even though CBS only had 60 minutes in original programming, on the night.
