The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #86:
ABC takes the last week of 2017, thanks to three hours of DICK CLARK'S NEW YEAR'S ROCKIN' EVE and a Christmas Night NBA game. NYRE took the #2 and #4 spots, and averaged over 14 million viewers and a 4.0 rating in Adults 18-49. The Christmas NBA game ranked 21st on the week, drawing five million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. But, ABC only had 4 shows in the top 30, with an encore of AFV (#18) grabbing 5.1 million viewers.
CBS and FOX battled it out for second place. CBS had the most shows in the top 30, with 16 shows. But, most of its line up was in encores, except for a couple hours of news magazines and the NFL overrun game, on Sunday night.
FOX did very well with its New Year's Eve show, hosted by Steve Harvey. The event collected 5.8 million viewers and ranked 14th on the week. FOX also took the #1 spot with its NFL Overrun game, attracting 20.8 million viewers, and the #5 spot with THE OT's 10.5 million viewers.
Without THE VOICE or the NFL, NBC sunk to fourth place. It pushed seven shows into the top 30, including three nights of DATELINE ranking 20th, 27th and 28th, Friday to Sunday, respectively.
