Final Broadcast Ratings: November 8, 2017

The 51st Country Music Awards dominated the Wednesday night ratings, drawing 14.3 million viewers and a 3.2 rating in Adults 18-49. that is up 1.8 million viewers and growth of 10% in the A18-49 demographic, from last year's show.

The return of EMPIRE and STAR to the FOX line up secured the #2 spot for the network. EMPIRE collected 5.40 million viewers and a 1.8 demo rating, That is on par with its last broadcast, on October 18th. STAR was down from its last episode, losing 400,000 viewers and a tenth of a point in the A18-49 demo.

CBS was down a notch from October 25th, the last time all three shows were in originals. The losses were across all three series, in all categories.

NBC saw similar losses to CBS with the return of its full Wednesday night lineup. But, THE BLACKLIST was even from last week's episode.

Just given its "Back Nine" order, DYNASTY pulls the worst numbers of the night, half of what the lowest ratings is for an individual category. HOW did the rebooted series earn a renewal???
