Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 10/16/2017

THIS IS US leads NBC to a Tuesday night victory, posting the top numbers in the three demographic categories. The hit drama drew 10.5 million viewers and posted a 2.8 rating in Adults 18-49. Week-to-week, THIS IS US dropped in the A18-35 and A25-54 demographics and dropped 500,000 total viewers. only the A18-49 rating stayed even.

CBS also saw week-to-week losses, dropping about 10% from last week. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was up in the two younger demos, despite dropping in total viewership.

ABC's two freshman series are struggling. THE MAYOR dropped 25% of its BLACK-ISH lead in, while KEVIN is a distant third in the 10 PM hour.

FOX continues its 4th place showing on the night. LETHAL WEAPON was fifth in the 8 PM hour in the A18-34 demo and tied THE FLASH in the A18-49 demo. BROOKLYN NINE-NINE ranks last on the night, from the BIG 4 Networks and only tops LEGENDS of TOMORROW when including The CW.
