It was another low rated Saturday night, with College Football leading the way. On ABC, the Saturday night game drew an average of 4.6 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49. FOX's game averaged just under 2.6 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the demo.
CBS premieres the new season of 48 HOURS, with the 9 PM episode grabbing 2.8 million viewers and a 0.4 demographic rarting. At 10 PM, the newsmagazine collected 4.2 million viewers and a 0.6 demo. At 8 PM, an encore of NCIS took in 3.3 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49.
NBC was mostly encores, with comedies leading it off in the 8 PM hour. WILL & GRACE repeat drew 2.1 million viewers and a 0.4 demographic rating, with SUPERSTORE encore holding on to the 2.1 million viewers and upping the demo by a tenth of a point. DATELINE, at 9 PM, was the top show for the network, bringing on 3.4 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demo. An SNL repeat ended the night with 2.5 million viewers and a 0.6 demo.
