Preliminary Ratings: Friday 10/06/2017

CBS swept the Friday night ratings, drawing the most viewers with a 8.0 million average, a winning the night in the three age demographics. BLUE BLOODS was the #1 program, drawing 9.3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. HAWAII FIVE-O posted the same A18-49 rating, but bested BLUE BLOODS in the A18-34 demo, with the night's best 0.6 rating. MACGYVER kicked of the night for CBS, posting a time slot winning 0.8 rating in the A18-49 demo and just under 6.4 million viewers.

NBC was second on the night, lead by two hours of DATELINE, from 9 to 11 PM. The news magazine averaged a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49 and took in 5.6 million viewers. An encore of THE BRAVE, at 8 PM, was 4th in the hour.

FOX did well at 8 PM, posting the top A18-34 (0.5) and A18-49 (0.8) numbers with HELL'S KITCHEN, but THE EXORCIST was dead last on the night, from the BIG 4, with 1.5 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49.

The season premiere of the retooled ONCE UPON A TIME drew under 3.3 million viewers and posted a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Last year, LAST MAN STANDING and DR. KEN averaged a 1.0 demo rating and collected 4.8 million viewers on the hour. And that was not a premiere episode for either. INHUMANS looks to be a dud, falling a half a million viewers, from its 8 PM lead in. but was relatively flat in the demographic rating. 20/20 held on to its INHUMANS demographic numbers, but rose 400k in total viewership.
