ABC ends NBC's winning streak, sweeping the younger demographic ratings and nearly ties NBC for the most viewers on the week. ABC's surge came from two primetime college football games, including the season premiere of Saturday Night College Football which posted a 3.9 rating in Adults 18-49. The special Sunday night game scored a 1.3 demo rating. Both games ranking in the top 15, in total viewership.
NBC's usual suspects lead it to a second place finish, with AMERICA'S GOT TALENT #1 in total viewership, with 13.1 million viewers on Tuesday, and #3 in viewership (11.1 million ) on Wednesday. AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR secures the #6 spot, with 6.5 million. NBC pushed seven shows into the top 30, equalling ABC's total.
CBS was a distant third, with the three editions of BIG BROTHER providing the only power in the younger demographics. The reality series is the only CBS program to post an A18-49 demo rating at or above a 1.0 rating. Nut, CBS still pushed plenty of shows into the top 30, with 14 total programs.
Despite two College football games, FOX still ranks fourth on the week. The Sunday night game ranked 37th, while the season premiere of Saturday night games finished in 60th position. The two MASTERCHEF episodes are the only FOX shows in the top 30.
All 11 CW programs finish in the bottom 11 spots. Four CW shows do attract one million viewers or more, for the week.
