Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 06/21/2017

The summer doldrums are in full force, with most shows on Wednesday night failing to draw four million viewers or getting a full point in the A18-49 demographic. Only the series premiere of LITTLE BIG SHOTS: FOREVER YOUNG accomplished that, with 7.4 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating. That is on par with the previous week's season finale of the original, LITTLE BIG SHOTS.

FOX was right with NBC, in the nightly averages, taking the two younger demographic categories. MASTERCHEF posted a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49, while THE F WORD dropped two-tenths, for a 0.7 rating.

ABC's season premiere of TO TELL THE TRUTH premiered soft, collecting just 2.9 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. The game show was second in the hour in total viewers and barely beat encores from CBS and ABC, in the A18-49 demo. Compared to last year's summer premiere, also at 10 PM, TTTT is down 2.3 million viewers and 40% in the demo.
