Final Broadcast Ratings: April 4, 2017

CBS tops the Tuesday night ratings, producing three of the top five shows of the night, including the most watched program, NCIS. However, CBS did not win hour of the night in the demographic ratings, but was the most consistent through the night

NBC was right there with CBS in the younger, A18-34 and A18-49 demographics, but the sitcom TRIAL AND ERROR pushed NBC from first in the demos to fourth, from its lead in, while CHICAGO FIRE regained #1 in the 10 PM hour.

FOX was a competitive third place, with the return of the series, PRISON BREAK. The premiere drew 3.8 million viewers and a solid 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49. Compared to last week's series finale of BONES, PRISON BREAK was up 50% in the A18-49 demo and nearly 100% in the A18-34 demo. FOX was #1 in the 9 PM hour, in all three demo categories.

ABC dropped to fourth on the night, as week two for the new sitcom, IMAGINARY MARY, dropped about 35% in the ratings from its premiere last Wednesday. It is still better than the last episode of THE REAL O'NEALS, improving a tenth of a point in each of the three demos and increased total viewership by 800,000. The return of AGENTS OF SHIELD was a disappointment, as it was the lowest rated program of the night, from the BIG 4 networks.

The season premiere of iZOMBIE was down from last spring's average, by roughly 20%.
