NBC sweeps the first full week in 2017, with strong numbers form a primetime NFL playoff game on Saturday, and a improved GOLDEN GLOBES show, on Sunday. Saturday's Wildcard game was #2 overall, collecting 26.9 million viewers and a 8.4 rating in Adults 18-49, for all of Saturday night. The Sunday awards program , brought in 20 million viewers and a 5.6 rating in the demo, for three full hours. That is a really good weekend, but the network also had good performnces for Winter premieres from all three CHICAGO series and the official start to new game show, THE WALL (#27).
CBS did not have any big sports or Hollywood event, but still managed 16 shows in the top 30, but only THE BIG BANG THEORY managed and A18-49 rating above a 2.0. For that, CBS was fourth in the A18-49 demographic, for the week.
