Final Broadcast Ratings: December 21, 2016

Just a few hours of original or special programming on Wednesday night, which leads to an easy victory for CBS. It was the only network to air all-original programming, including the first two episodes of the season for UNDERCOVER BOSS. From 8 to 10 PM, the reality series drew an average of 5.7 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49, the best of the night. CODE BLACK won its time slot, with little competition, posting a 0.9 rating in the A18-49 demographic and drawing six million viewers.

FOX ABC and NBC battled it out for second place. The ABC special, GAME CHANGERS WITH ROBIN ROBERTS, was the lowest rated program of the night, from the BIG 4 networks. FOX's encored did slightly better than NBC's, and ABC do better than the other two nets, in the A25-54 demographic.
