Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 12/21/2016

Just a few hours of original or special programming on Wednesday night, which leads to an easy victory for CBS. It was the only network to air all-original programming, including the first two episodes of the season for UNDERCOVER BOSS. From 8 to 10 PM, the reality series drew an average of 5.6 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49, the best of the night. CODE BLACK won its time slot, with little competition, posting a 0.9 rating in the A18-49 demographic.

FOX ABC and NBC battled it out for second place. The ABC special, GAME CHANGERS WITH ROBIN ROBERTS, was the lowest rated program of the night, from the BIG 4 networks. FOX's encored did slightly better than NBC's, and ABC do better than the other two nets, in the A25-54 demographic.
