Primetime Cable Ratings: October 10, 2016

Game three of the NLDS, featuring the Cubs vs the Giants, went 13 innings and did not end until after 2:30 AM, on the east coast. Given that, the game did very well, drawing 4.1 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49. Most viewers east of the Mississippi, probably gave up on the game, at the halfway point, before Midnight, or else the game may have done a lot better, over the five hour telecast.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL retains its #1 ranking on the night, but takes a 4.1 million viewer hit, from last week's game, plus the A18-49 rating dropped 30%. The game was close, as Tampa Bay beat Carolina, 17-14, but neither team has a winning record.
