Primetime Cable Ratings: September 28, 2016

AMERICAN HORROR STORY seems to have settled into its Live+SD audience level, drawing 3.1 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down just 200k in total viewers and the demo dropped only one-tenth of a point, from last week.

CNN's Town Hall was not enough to dethrone FOX NEWS from the top of the cable ratings. The CNN special collected 1.8 million viewers, ranking 11th on the night. FOX News took three of the top four spots, averaging three million viewers on the night.

TBS pushed four of the five BIG BANG THEORY episodes into the top 10, allowing a new episode of FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE to make the top 20, with 1.5 million viewers.
