Complete Nielsen Ratings: July 25 - 31, 2016
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #92:
NBC may have been down in the ratings, it was still able to sweep the weekly ratings. The network had the top two shows of the week, two nights of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, and a total of ten shows in the top 30. All four nights of its coverage of the Democratic National Convention made the top 30, the only network to do so.
CBS and ABC battled it out for second place. CBS had the better viewership and household numbers, while ABC edged out with slightly better A18-49 and A25-54 demographic ratings. CBS had four top 10 shows and a total of 13 shows in the top 30. ABC only had seven top 30 shows, including CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD at #5.
FOX's summer seems to only get worse with each passing week. It fell below two million total viewers and was closer to The CW's demo numbers that it was of any of the big three networks. MASTERCHEF (#40) was the only FOX show ranked higher than 55th, drawing just 3.4 million viewers.
As a preview to next week's numbers. expect NBC to just dominate the ratings, as the Summer Olympics kick off on Friday night, with some spot coverage and shows before that.
