CBS has finally given an official title to the upcoming new series, STAR TREK: DISCOVERY. The title reflects the name of the new ship of the franchise.
CW Series sets end date:
The long running CW drama series, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, will end its run after the up coming 8th season.
Verizon buys Yahoo!:
The top cellular service provider, Verizon, has purchased Yahoo! for $4.8 billion. The purchase is for the consumer businesses of Yahoo, including the social network, Tumblr.
Netflix scores deal with FX:
The leading streaming service has struck a deal with FX for exclusive worldwide streaming rights to the AMERICAN CRIME franchise. This will include next year's installment, focusing on Hurricane Katrina.
