Primetime Cable Ratings: July 25, 2016

The Democratic National Convention picks up right where the Republican National Convention left off. Between CNN, FOX News and MSNBC, the three cable news networks take nine of the top 14 spots. CNN was tops of the three networks, taking the top two spots and averaging 5.1 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49.

On the entertainment side of the night, RIZZOLI & ISLES and MAJOR CRIMES each make the top 10, averaging 3.7 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, for TNT. The only other scripted orignal program to draw over one million viewers was Disney's BEST FRIENDS WHENEVER (#30) with 1.2 million.

LOVE & HIP HOP didn't miss a beat, scoring 2.6 million viewers and the second best A18-49 rating, with a 1.4 score.
